Charity

Each year our guild members make quilts, from crib to full size, for donations to local charities. Recent receipients include:

  • Tiny Miracles
  • Gilda's House
  • Lighthouse
  • Crittenton Hospital
  • Veterans
  • Crossroads
  • the Food Pantry
  • Neighborhood House

Members gather on one or two Saturdays per year to work on these quilts together. This is a fun day and a great way to meet members of the guild. Individual members and sit-and-stitch groups also donate charity quilts. Charity quilts are an important way of giving to the community. Additional items, such as personal products, canned goods, and children's clothing, are periodically given to area charitable organizations for distribution.
